هل تخيلت يوماً أن تتخلص من الأسلاك الكهربائية التي توصل الكهرباء لكل الأجهزة المنزلية في بيتك؟ هل تخيلت أن يشحن هاتفك المحمول بمجرد دخولك المنزل؟!! لا حاجه للتخيل لأن الأمر حقيقة بالفعل: قام فريق من معهد ماساتشوستس للتقنية MIT بتطور طريقة فعالة وآمنة لنقل الكهرباء لاسلكيا إلى أجهزة البيت، حيث تعتمد هذه الطريقة على خاصية كهربية تسمى “الرنين”، وفيها يتم استخدام قطعتان (واحدة على كل جهة) لهما نفس تردد الرنين مما يسمح بنقل الكهرباء بينهما، والغريب أنه يمكنك السير بينهما دون أن تقطع التيار أو أن تصعق بالكهرباء! ويمكن إخفاء القطعة الباعثة في الجدار ووضع الأخرى في داخل الأجهزة. هنالك سبب طريف وراء هذا الإختراع وهو أن أحد الأساتذة من الجامعة انزعج من إيقاظ هاتفه له عدة مرات لأنه نسي أن يشحنه قبل أن ينام فقرر إيجاد حل للمشكلة!! هذا الفيديو يوضح تطبيق عملي للإختراع:
