odds are we don’t always give our complete attention without formulating thoughts of our own.
We sometimes waits to talk instead of really listening.
This happens all the time...
Why dont we lend our ears even for just a brief moment...
In the process, we also give ourselves a break from worrying, analyzing, and judging—a brief flicker in time to let everything go
and just absorb the world around us.
In that way we benefit twofold from forgetting ourselves for a while.

Watching puddles move from drops of rain.
The sounds of a wave crashing against a rock,
A sunset reflection, a vision you can not block.
Whispers of wind blowing through trees,
Walks through sand where you feel an ocean breeze.
Kittens purring in your ear,
These little things in life are so dear.
A drive at night to watch the stars
Help your dreams seem not so far.
Soft hair of your teddy bear,
A friend you know who will always care.
The sound of a newborn baby's cry,
The first time they open their eyes.
A sweet smell of a yellow rose,
This is something you will always know.
A true love that you have found,
You know your hearts will always be bound.

We're going to ride the Ferris Wheel of Life
And when it gets to the top,
We'll review each of the blessings we've received.
They never seem to stop!
Round and round we go
Never stopping, never wondering
Our life's struggle has it's beginning
It will always have it's ending
Along our way we've found laughter,
love and happiness, freely given by
Earth Angels we call 'Friends.' -
From them we find courage to ride
Life's Ferris Wheel time and again.

And rushed right into the day
I had so much to accomplish
That I didn't have time to pray
Troubles just tumbled about me
And heavier came each task
why doesn't God help me? I wondered
He answered, "You didn't ask"
I tried to come into God's presence
I used all my keys at the lock
God gently and lovingly chided
"why, child, you didn't knock."
I wanted to see joy and beauty
But the day toiled on, gray and bleak
I called on the Lord for the reason
he said, "You didn't seek"
I woke up early this morning
And paused before entering the day
I had so much to accomplish
That I had to take time to pray..
Just a thought ..
