أدمتْ أناملَ شِعري وانطوى

سرقتَ الأماني بغفوة حلمِ
وكلمٍ جارحٍ مزّق ثناياه فذوى

تهاوى سرُّ بقائي في سماكَ
و توارى ذيّاك النبضُ وهوَى

في قحل أيامك تركتُ الندى
علّ ذكرايَ تبكيكَ الهوى
